So let just hope this was a fluke thing and all is well from here on out. While driving down interstate 90 coming up to Syracuse NY, the van broke down and stopped accelerating. After we coasted to the side of the highway, we could not get the van started back up. Unfortunately we had to call AAA and get towed to the nearest shop. We met a great tow truck driver how told us a lot of good tips for what to see out west. Long story short, we had to have the ignition coil and distributor cap replaced.($160) Thank you "Kinny's Kar Kare"!! So because we got put out for a few hours, we decided to hold off on Niagara until tomorrow morning. We will be staying with a good friend in Syracuse for the night and getting a fresh start tomorrow!
We are just super happy we got right into a shop and back on the road in only a couple hours.
and a big thanks to Alyssa for not only being patient and waiting with us but for keeping spirits high and providing sweet soothing ukulele entertainment ! haha
