It was a great night in Chicago! We arrived at our friends house on the north side of town around 4pm and hung out for a little bit to get settled before heading into the city. Our first stop?...to get a deep dish pizza of course!
The skyline in this city is so nice. The architecture here is so unique and modern. Our friend Josh told us about a free concert in Millennium park. We got to see the big bean which was very cool, as well as the Crown fountain (which projects random peoples faces onto them). The concert was wonderful. Sitting in the grass with a symphony playing under the Chicago skyline was very peaceful and relaxing.
Today we head off on our big stretch west to South Dakota! We will most likely break the drive into two days and stop somewhere along the route to sleep and rest for the night.
Chicago is a beautiful city!!!
